Springtime Indoors at The Serene Home: Resources for Getting Organized While Spending Time Inside

HAPPY SPRING FROM THE SERENE HOME!

WELL, THIS ISN’T EXACTLY HOW WE THOUGHT WE WOULD BE SPENDING THE FIRST WEEKS OF SPRING, IS IT?

WITH ALL THE CHALLENGES FACING US RIGHT NOW, IT IS HARD TO FEEL PRODUCTIVE AND WELL-CENTERED NOW THAT WE HAVE BEEN SHAKEN FROM OUR USUAL ROUTINES.

Once you have adjusted to the temporary new normal, you might consider using this time to get your home or work space organized! If that is on your agenda, here are a few tools that may help.

Whatever you are doing with the time; working from home, home schooling kids, taking care of family members, volunteering or just looking out for your own well-being, it is exactly the right thing for you to do. Trusting your own judgement and being gentle with yourself is the key.

Because we have been indoors with a little time on our (frequently washed) hands, many are considering getting organized as a good project. Our homes are our refuge and that has never been more apparent than now.

Over the last week, I gave a KonMari Basics presentation for NextDoor and then a follow up Ask The Organizer-Question and Answer presentation. It was great to connect with neighbors as well as new and past clients while sharing tips on getting organized in home and office

Here on the YouTube links to both presentations.

As always, please feel free to drop me a line with any questions you have about editing, sorting and organizing.
