What To Do Before The Organizer Arrives.
A 15 minute call to discuss your challenges and goals.

Begin with a 15 minute free consultation.

We’ll dig into your home or apartment storage situation together.
You’ll complete a questionnaire about your clutter challenges, your closets and storage spaces and your goals.
Along with the questionnaire, I’ll invite you to send me photos of your biggest home and work concerns.
During our call, we will talk about:
What does a Professional Organizer do?
Why is it so hard to get organized on your own?
What has stood in the way of getting your home and work life organized in the past?
How can a professional organizer help when you are going through a life transition such as a new baby, new job, a move, or kids leaving home?

We’ll discuss a plan for bringing serenity into your life.
We’ll decide if The Serene Home is the solution for your particular organization challenges.
Is ADHD, ADD or chronic disorganization presenting unique challenges to getting and staying organized?
What can you do if your family members or roommates are messier than you?
What are the steps to getting organized once and for all?
We’ll create a Getting Organized plan to address your concerns.
Once we decide to work together, I’ll send you my suggestions for getting ready so that we make the most of our appointment time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Because you deserve it!
Organizing primarily involves two steps: deciding whether or not to keep something and deciding where to put it. This sounds really simple, but there’s a lot more to it than appears on the surface.
In addition, designing your home environment, whether simply using the things you already own or revamping your entire home, can be a complex process that requires a good, trained second set of eyes who has taken the time to understand how you and your family live.
My clients are often very busy, active people who have achieved great success in many areas of their lives. Organizing the home is something that often gets forgotten and, yet, it can lead to making a complex life more manageable and enjoyable.
If you are moving, making sure that you are packing and moving the correct things for you new home will save you time and money. The Serene Home will work closely with you, helping you discard, donate or sell the things you don’t need, and then will help you get set up in your new home.
The Serene Home can help if making time for organization has been hard or if your efforts seem to fall short of your vision.
